Our Minister Selçuk: “İŞKUR Campus renders service in 166 universities”

Our Family, Labour and Social Services Minister Zehra Zümrüt Selçuk made explanations regarding İŞKUR Campus operating in 81 provinces. Our Minister Selçuk said, “We render job and vocational counselling service by coming into closer contact with our university students.”

Expressing that University Contact Points serving university students since 2013 were reconstructed in the name of İŞKUR Campus and they render service in 166 universities in 81 provinces, Our Minister Selçuk said that “We deliver Job and Vocational Counselling in the form of individual interviews and group interviews in topics such as employer interviews, job searching methods, getting to know labour market, preparing proper and effective CVs.”

Collaboration with Universities

Emphasising a joint work will be realised with representatives of University Career Centres, Our Minister Selçuk explained that “We foresee that periodic meetings would be made with faculty administrative units, online group interviews would be made by considering the trend of the pandemic, and class interviews of 20-25 minutes related to İŞKUR services would be realised in continuing online courses in line with plans made with academicians.”

Our Minister Selçuk said that “Furthermore, in İŞKUR Campuses; we will provide students with both theoretical and practical trainings in topics such as forming career targets, job searching channels, preparing CVs, body language, interview techniques, employer expectations through our Job Club service.”

She emphasised the importance of coordinated work with Career Centres to increase the effectiveness of Job and Vocational Counselling services to be delivered by İŞKUR Campus and ended her words by saying that “We will continue our works in cooperation with Career Centres within universities in which we are operating with İŞKUR Campus service.”
