İŞKUR and Kazakhstan Workforce Development Centre sign a Cooperation Protocol
In the context of the ongoing cooperation with the Workforce Development Centre under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan, General Directorate of Turkish Employment Agency (İŞKUR) paid a two-day study visit to Astana on 8-9 October, 2025 to enhance experience exchange and corporate communication and signed a cooperation protocol.
Deputy Director General İbrahim Oğuzhan Yıldırım, who led the İŞKUR delegation at the opening of the visit, expressed his pleasure at being in Kazakhstan and emphasized the importance of addressing common dynamics in the two countries' labour markets and finding solutions together to these challenges. Yıldırım emphasized his desire for continued cooperation within the framework of the signed cooperation protocol and his belief that the two brotherly countries' partnership in employment and the fight against unemployment will grow even stronger in the coming years.
Mr. Zhumanbayev Yerassyl Temirbekovich, Director General of the Kazakhstan Workforce Development Centre, expressed his pleasure to host İŞKUR delegation and emphasized the strong potential for cooperation between Türkiye and Kazakhstan in line with their common goals in the field of employment. He also stated that, within the scope of the signed cooperation protocol, active labour force programmes, counselling services, and joint studies such as supporting the participation of young people in employment could be carried out in thematic areas.
At the Astana Embassy meeting held as part of the visit, H.E. Ambassador Mustafa Kapucu, who received İŞKUR Delegation, stated that this visit would contribute to further strengthening existing relations with sister countries within the framework of the Organisation of Turkic States and would reinforce the cooperation based on shared values. H.E. Kapucu also emphasised that accelerating efforts to establish a network of employment agencies within this structure would be beneficial for all countries in the region.
