Croatian Employment Service Visits İŞKUR
The delegation headed by Mr. Ante Lončar, Director General of Croatian Public Employment Service, paid a study visit to İŞKUR on January 11-12, 2024 in order to sign a cooperation protocol with Turkish Employment Agency (İŞKUR) and to exchange information and experience through mutual study visits.
On the first day of the visit, a cooperation protocol and an action plan that include inter-institutional cooperation activities and the studies to be carried out in 2024 were signed between Mr. Samet Güneş, Director General of İŞKUR and Ante Lončar. Following the protocol signing ceremony, at the meeting chaired by Varol Dur, İŞKUR Deputy General Manager, employment experts made a detailed presentation to the Croatian delegation about the general structure of İŞKUR, data of labour market in Türkiye, employment, job and vocational counselling, active and passive labour force services and ongoing projects. In addition, Mr. Ante Lončar and his accompanying delegation informed İŞKUR delegation about the activities of Croatian Employment Service.
On the second day of the visit, the Croatian delegation visited Sincan Service Centre to observe İŞKUR activities on site. During the visit, the delegation was informed about the services delivered by İŞKUR.
The visit ended with consultations aimed at strengthening the inter-institutional cooperation and determining a road map for the activities to be carried out in the coming period.
