Delegation of Korea Employment Agency for Persons with Disabilities Visited İŞKUR

A delegation headed by Jung Yeon Kim, Director of Korea Employment Agency for Persons with Disabilities (KEAD), paid a working visit to İŞKUR on 11-13 June 2024 in order to sign a cooperation protocol with Turkish Employment Agency (İŞKUR) and to exchange information and experience.

On the first day of the visit, at the meeting held under the chairmanship of İŞKUR Deputy General Director Varol Dur, a detailed presentation was made by employment experts on the general structure of İŞKUR, Turkey's labour market data, employment, job and vocational counselling, services for disabled citizens, active and passive labour force services and projects being carried out. After the presentation, Jung Yeon Kim and the accompanying delegation informed the İŞKUR delegation about the activities carried out for the disabled.

On the second day of the visit, the delegation met with İŞKUR General Manager Samet Güneş and signed a cooperation protocol including inter-institutional cooperation activities and activities to be carried out in 2024.

On the last day of the visit, the delegation visited the job club and then the disabled workplace, which was implemented with the support of İŞKUR, in order to see İŞKUR practices in place.  During the visit, the delegation was informed about the services offered by İŞKUR.

The visit ended with consultations aimed at strengthening the cooperation between the Agencies and determining a road map for the activities to be carried out in the coming period.
