Employment Service of Slovenia Visits İŞKUR

Within the scope of the cooperation protocol signed between the Turkish Employment Agency (İŞKUR) and the Employment Service of Slovenia, Ms. Greta Metka Barbo Skerbınc, Director of the Employment Service of Slovenia, and the accompanying delegation paid a study visit to İŞKUR between 12 and 14 February 2025.

In the opening and welcoming session of the visit, Mr. Samet Güneş, Director General of İŞKUR, expressed his satisfaction with the visit of the Slovenian delegation, emphasised the importance of cooperation and sharing good practices between countries.

Following the opening speeches, presentations made under the chairmanship of Engin Akyol, Deputy Director General of İŞKUR, provided information on public employment services strategies and practices and activities carried out within the scope of international relations.

The delegation visited Provincial Directorate of Labour and Employment Agency (İŞKUR) and the workplaces where active labour force programmes are implemented, with the aim of determining the framework of joint studies that will contribute positively to the employment of the countries and strengthening the constructive dialogue between the countries and agencies.

The visit ended with consultations on strengthening the cooperation between the agencies and increasing the areas of joint work.
