Uzbekistan Delegation Visits İŞKUR

Uzbekistan Delegation, led by Sobir Khaitmuratov, Head of the Employment Department, visited Turkish Employment Agency (İŞKUR).

During the visit, which took place within the “Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Fields of Labour and Employment between the Ministry of Labour and Social Security of the Republic of Türkiye and the Ministry of Employment and Labour Relations of the Republic of Uzbekistan”, the delegation was welcomed by İbrahim Oğuzhan Yıldırım, Deputy Director General of İŞKUR.

Within the scope of the actions under the responsibility of İŞKUR, the aim is to enhance cooperation in areas such as labour migration and the protection of the rights of citizens working abroad, active labour market policies, the digitalisation of public employment services, services for disadvantaged groups, and job and vocational counselling.

Heading the delegation, Khaitmuratov expressed his hope that the historically strong cooperation between Türkiye and Uzbekistan will continue in the upcoming period. He stated that bilateral activities carried out within the framework of a partnership culture will further strengthen the ties between the two countries.

During the meeting, practices related to the digitalisation of public employment services were discussed; additionally, experiences were shared regarding services for disadvantaged groups and labour transition programmes. Views were also exchanged on joint projects and programmes that could be implemented between the two countries within the scope of the action plan.
