Azerbaijan Public Employment Agency Visited İŞKUR

The representatives of Azerbaijan Public Employment Agency (DMA) visited İŞKUR on September 12, 2023 within the scope of “the Protocol on the 10th Meeting of Joint Standing Committee on Labour and Social Security”, signed between the Ministry of Labour and Social Security and the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and its annex “2022-2023 Action Plan”.

During the visit which started with the opening speeches delivered by Mr. Samet Güneş, the Director General of İŞKUR, and Mr. Rufat Javadov, the Deputy Director General of Azerbaijan Public Employment Agency, the delegations held a consultation on active labour market, employment, job and vocational counselling services and activities carried out under the labour market research.

After the speeches, the delegation of Azerbaijan has joined the departing activity of the promotion vehicle for “My Fellow Traveller İŞKUR” under the scope of Labour Market Support Programme for “Youth Not in Employment, Education or Training”, implemented by İŞKUR with the co-financing of the Republic of Türkiye, and the European Union.

Later during the study visit, the Delegation has visited Eskişehir Provincial Directorate of Labour and Employment Agency, and related Agencies of the Ministry of Labour and Social Security to observe the activities implemented by İŞKUR on-site.
