CPESSEC Executive and Expert Conferences Held in Montenegro

The managerial and expert conference was held in Montenegro/Petrovac on September 21-22, 2023 within the scope of CPESSEC (the Centre of Public Employment Services of Southeast European Countries) which brings together the public employment services of the Southeast European countries of which İŞKUR is a member.

In addition to İŞKUR, member countries Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania, Slovenia and Hungary and as an observer Kosovo attended the conference hosted by Montenegro, which holds the 2023 Term Presidency. In addition, representatives of the European Training Foundation (ETF) and the World Association of Public Employment Services (WAPES) took part in the event.

On the first day of the event, at the executive conference on "Migration Flows in the Labour Market: Measures and Activities Aimed at Retaining Skilled Labour Force", Mr. Oğuzhan Küpeli, Head of Foreign Relations and Projects Department, informed the participants about the projects and activities carried out by İŞKUR for migrants.

On the second day, Mr. Atıf Gürlevik – Employment Expert – made a presentation on vocational training courses and on-the-job training programmes organised in the scope of active employment programmes during the expert conference with the theme of “Training Programmes, Information, Skills and Learning Outcomes – Compatibility with Labour Market Needs of Today and Future”.

During the conference, negotiations were held for the signing of the bilateral cooperation protocols between CPESSEC member countries and İŞKUR.
