Information Technology Training is held in cooperation between İŞKUR and SESRIC
“Training Course on Fostering Information Technology Solutions to Improve the Effectiveness of Public Employment Services (PES) in the OIC Member Countries” was held online on 19-20 October 2022.
Our Agency is a stakeholder of the Project on “Fostering Information Technology Solutions to Improve the Effectiveness of Public Employment Services (PES) in the OIC Member Countries” that is carried out by the Statistical, Economic and Social Research and Training Centre for Islamic Countries (SESRIC). In the scope of this project, experts from the Malaysian Social Security Organisation (SOCSO) gave online training under the theme of “Fostering Information Technology Solutions to Improve the Effectiveness of Public Employment Services (PES) in the OIC Member Countries” on 19-20 October 2022.
In the opening speeches of the training organised in the scope of the Project that has partners as Indonesia and Malesia as well as Turkey, Mr. Oğuzhan Küpeli – Acting Head of the Department of Foreign Relations and Projects – emphasised that technological transformation of public employment agencies was inevitable especially due to technology developing after the pandemic, and that data analysis and analysis processes were important in terms of leading and balancing labour market.
Approximately 80 participants from public employment agencies of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation Member States participated in the training, and the Malaysian Social Security Organisation addressed the issues of digitalisation, labour market information systems and digital solutions.
