South Korean Delegation visits İŞKUR

Cafer Uzunkaya, Director General of İŞKUR hosted Brigadier General So Young Min from South Korean Land Forces Command, Adjutant General’s Office and the delegation accompanying him.

Emphasising that there were serious friendship ties between South Korea and Turkey, Brigadier General So Young Min, the Head of the Delegation, thanked for being accepted. Uzunkaya underlined that both countries had a cultural and historical background and stated that he was pleased to host the Korean Delegation in İŞKUR’s General Directorate.

After expressing goodwill wishes, at the meeting Bekir Aktürk, Deputy Director General of İŞKUR, made a presentation on duties carried out in the scope of active labour market programmes, job and vocational counselling services, labour market and job vacancy researches, employment services, unemployment insurance services and international relations.

Following the İŞKUR’s presentation, evaluations were made regarding activities applied within the scope of combating youth unemployment and programmes applied for people who completed their military service in Turkey.
