The Delegation of Uzbekistan Has Visited İŞKUR

The Delegation of the Ministry of Employment and Poverty Reduction of the Republic of Uzbekistan paid a visit to İŞKUR on September 7, 2023 to obtain information about activities and services of İŞKUR following the visits to the Ministry of Labour and Social Security and the Social Security Institution.

Mr. Samet Güneş - Director General of İŞKUR – hosted the delegation presided by Ms. Eshovna Rano Turdıboyeva – Deputy Minister –in his Office. Ms. Turdıboyeva stated that they could benefit from Türkiye’s and İŞKUR’s experiences related to activities carried out in the field of employment by developing relations between the Ministries. She also mentioned that they wanted to pay one more visit in the forthcoming period to receive more detailed information about vocational training and labour mobility.

Mr. Güneş made evaluations after the Deputy Minister's speech and then informed the delegation about the activities offered by İŞKUR and stated that İŞKUR is open to cooperation with the sibling country Uzbekistan in all matters. Mr. Güneş also invited Uzbekistan officials to the World Association of Public Employment Services (WAPES) European Regional Conference, which will be held in Antalya in November 2023 with the theme "Public Employment Services for NEETs".

The Uzbekistan Delegation concluded the visit with consultations on strengthening cooperation between agencies and increasing common working areas.
