TRNC Minister of Labour and Social Security Gardiyanoğlu Visited İŞKUR

The delegation, headed by Mr. Sadık Gardiyanoğlu – the Minister of Labour and Social Security of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus – visited İŞKUR on October 12, 2023 to improve cooperation with İŞKUR and examine the examples of good practices on-site.

During the visit, Mr. Samet Güneş – the Director General of İŞKUR – and Mr. Sadık Gardiyanoğlu – the Minister of Labour and Social Security of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus – made opening speeches and the delegations discussed activities carried out in the scope of employment services. Mr. Oğuz Tuncay – the Director General for Foreign Affairs of the Ministry of Labour and Social Security and Ms. Sezgi Çobanoğlu Ballı – the Head of Department of Labour of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus – also participated in the visit.

In his speech, Mr. Güneş stated that İŞKUR is open to cooperation with the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in all matters and that they are ready to provide the technical support needed. The visit ended with discussions on improving cooperation by increasing common working areas between institutions.
